Today’s writing collaboration comes from Nigerian poet- Jerry Peri.

I have about a dozen collaborations lined up at the moment, but if you want to take part- see the original post and drop me an email.

Oh ye that build houses of mud, clay, or bricks

Do ye know that thy last and final house on earth is the grave?

And

Shall ye that kill not die?

So it is that all shall one day die even as Methuselah did!

For

All mankind are worm and dust and to such all shall turn into when it is time!!

What then is thy pride and prejudice for?

Jerry Peri is a Nigerian poet and author, a subsistence farmer, who lives in Kaltungo town, Gombe State, Nigeria. His writing can be found at https://celebrityplatform.org/

Twenty-seven-thousand, three-hundred-and-seventy-five days.

Make of them what you will.

Build your opportunities as high as mountains.

Nobody will build them for you.

Count forwards. Not backward.

The ending may have been written.

But the scenes before are yours.

Write your own dialogue.

Form your own narrative.
