Butterfly Effect- Twenty Word Tuesday

BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Here’s this week’s Twenty-word Tuesday based on Bulbul’s prompt. Today the prompt is Butterfly Effect

“The smallest stones” he whispered. “make the biggest waves.” His soft voice echoed like thunder cutting violently through the night.

  1. I like the thunder bit tying into the Ray Bradbury “A Sound of Thunder” story, awesome! 🙌

    1. I’ve just read the plot summary for A Sound of Thunder because I was not aware of it. It sounds like a good book. Happy coincidence that I referenced it 😀

      1. Haha I never knew about it either until I looked up the details in Wikipedia and then went down a rabbit hole, I’m stuck because I wanted my butterfly effect to make a tsunami but those are apparently generated by water displacement (earthquake etc.) not air currents, dang it!! Haha 🤓😆

          1. Same. And yeah, I’d actually written a whole footnote about that but just wasn’t feeling it after I’d lost the flow. Thanks though. :))

  2. Ahhaa! That is superb writing, Peter, and i love it. Now, thanks to you and Lia, I am off to find ‘A sound of Thunder’.
    Thank you!
