Writing Collab #3- An Even Keel

My third  Collaboration Challenge comes from Chris Black

“He walked, keeping an even keel

As waves washed in

The shoreline scouted by sea-birds”

Lapping listlessly against the sad frown of the bay

But not for long.

The weathered sky blossomed with anger;

A foreboding unobtainable reality

Too far to reach shelter

Too close for comfort

Paces quicken intensely intonating change

Wars erupt rupturing the light

Abruptly keeling his journey.
