I’ve had another article published on Queen Mob’s Teahouse which is always exciting. This time, it seems that another Manc music icon wants to sully their name by saying something stupid. This time, it was the turn of Bernard Sumner of Joy Division/ New Order fame with his “Welshist” comments in the wake of Welsh COVID-19 lockdown measures. Lockdown is hard on all of us. But hopefully, Bernard Sumner gets to sail his yacht soon because I really do feel for him. It must be hard being so entitled that you can have such a public strop about it, especially under such stressful and trying times.
