Create a Stunning First Impression with Landscaping

Nature just does something for people. It helps them relax, breathe deeply, and soak everything in. Creating those feelings in your clients, customers, and business partners as they approach your building is an ideal way to start any business relationship.

Work with a landscaper to design unique displays of greenery on your company’s campus. Add lush shade trees along the walkways. Plant beautiful flowering shrubs and bushes to hide utility boxes and delineate the spaces. Opt for flowers that attract pollinators, such as hummingbirds, for natural interest.

Once the landscaping is in place, ensure it stays in good condition by hiring a dedicated maintenance crew if your company is large enough or contracting with a qualified landscaping company to keep everything well-maintained. When you find large problems that require a specific skill set, such as the care of established trees, search in your area for “tree surgery Dudley,” for example. They have years of experience in the field and know how to care for trees to keep them healthy and looking their best.

Improve Signage Around the Building

A good sign is a representation of your company’s brand. It proudly shows anyone who looks toward it what is inside the building. You want your sign to be up-to-date, well-lit, and in good condition. Anything less looks shabby and unkempt – the exact opposite of how you want to represent your brand.

If your company has a strong logo or has recently undergone a rebrand, replace the sign with a new one that matches the updated logo and colour scheme. If the sign is cracked or yellowed, install a new one – perhaps a larger sign that is visible from further away.

Beyond the company sign, reassess any other signage on your property. Look at signs directing deliveries to the loading dock or ones showing visitors where to park. Update any that are damaged, worn, or difficult to read. The optics may not be readily visible, but when a sign is in disrepair, the company is judged for a lack of care. When the signs are in excellent condition, people will take notice, even if they do not realise quite what they are noticing. They get a feeling of professionalism, and that is a direct representation of your brand.
